### sec.76 Protection from liability An authorised officer or a person acting under the direction of an authorised officer is not civilly liable for an act or omission done honestly and without negligence under this Act. If subsection (1) prevents a civil liability attaching to an authorised officer or person, the liability attaches instead to the State. s 76 amd 2006 No. 21 s 20 (sec.76-ssec.1) An authorised officer or a person acting under the direction of an authorised officer is not civilly liable for an act or omission done honestly and without negligence under this Act.
