### sec.475Q Removing illegally anchored or moored watercraft
This section applies if—
a notice of intention to remove a watercraft has been given under section 475P ; and
after the 14 days mentioned in the notice, the watercraft is still anchored or moored in contravention of a waterway management regulation; and
an authorised person—
can not immediately find the watercraft’s owner or operator; or
reasonably believes neither the watercraft’s owner nor operator is able or willing to move the watercraft immediately.
The authorised person may take steps that are necessary and reasonable to have the watercraft and anything in, on or attached to it removed to a place that is not in contravention of a waterway management regulation.

(sec.475Q-ssec.1) This section applies if— a notice of intention to remove a watercraft has been given under section 475P ; and after the 14 days mentioned in the notice, the watercraft is still anchored or moored in contravention of a waterway management regulation; and an authorised person— can not immediately find the watercraft’s owner or operator; or reasonably believes neither the watercraft’s owner nor operator is able or willing to move the watercraft immediately.
(sec.475Q-ssec.2) The authorised person may take steps that are necessary and reasonable to have the watercraft and anything in, on or attached to it removed to a place that is not in contravention of a waterway management regulation.
- (a) a notice of intention to remove a watercraft has been given under section 475P ; and
- (b) after the 14 days mentioned in the notice, the watercraft is still anchored or moored in contravention of a waterway management regulation; and
- (c) an authorised person— (i) can not immediately find the watercraft’s owner or operator; or (ii) reasonably believes neither the watercraft’s owner nor operator is able or willing to move the watercraft immediately.
