### sec.472 Functions of authorised persons
An authorised person has the following functions—
to investigate, monitor and enforce compliance with a waterway management regulation;
to investigate or monitor whether an occasion has arisen for the exercise of powers under a waterway management regulation or this part;
to facilitate the exercise of powers under a waterway management regulation or this part.
