### sec.379 No entitlement to compensation for particular matters A person having an interest in land (the relevant land ) has no entitlement at law, except to the extent this division provides, to compensation for a matter listed in subsection (2) , to the extent the matter is caused by— the establishment of a light rail; or the establishment or proposed establishment of light rail transport infrastructure on light rail land; or the operation of a light rail on light rail land. The matters are— the adverse effect on the amenity or likely amenity of the neighbourhood of the relevant land; and interference with an activity of a business, commercial, industrial or residential nature carried out on the relevant land; and loss or damage arising directly or indirectly from interference with access for the relevant land; and the reduction or loss of a right of access for the relevant land and loss or damage caused by the reduction or loss of the right of access. s 379 ins 2000 No. 40 s 13 amd 2014 No. 43 s 117 sch 1 (sec.379-ssec.1) A person having an interest in land (the relevant land ) has no entitlement at law, except to the extent this division provides, to compensation for a matter listed in subsection (2) , to the extent the matter is caused by— the establishment of a light rail; or the establishment or proposed establishment of light rail transport infrastructure on light rail land; or the operation of a light rail on light rail land.
