### sec.347 Ways of achieving light rail objectives The objectives of this Act for light rail are intended to be achieved by— developing and putting into effect light rail transport infrastructure strategies; and establishing a legal framework to allow the construction, maintenance, management and operation of light rail transport infrastructure in an effective and efficient way; and providing for the safety of the following by imposing requirements directed at ensuring the safety— light rail, light rail land and light rail transport infrastructure; persons at, on or near light rail, light rail land or light rail transport infrastructure. s 347 ins 2000 No. 40 s 13 amd 2010 No. 6 s 342 - (a) developing and putting into effect light rail transport infrastructure strategies; and - (b) establishing a legal framework to allow the construction, maintenance, management and operation of light rail transport infrastructure in an effective and efficient way; and - (c) providing for the safety of the following by imposing requirements directed at ensuring the safety— (i) light rail, light rail land and light rail transport infrastructure; (ii) persons at, on or near light rail, light rail land or light rail transport infrastructure. - (i) light rail, light rail land and light rail transport infrastructure; - (ii) persons at, on or near light rail, light rail land or light rail transport infrastructure. - (i) light rail, light rail land and light rail transport infrastructure; - (ii) persons at, on or near light rail, light rail land or light rail transport infrastructure.
