### sec.345 Immediate suspension of authorisation This section applies if the chief executive— reasonably believes an authorised busway user has contravened a condition of the authorised busway user’s authorisation; and considers members of the public may be seriously harmed if urgent action to suspend the authorisation is not taken. The chief executive may immediately suspend the authorisation by written notice to the authorised busway user. The notice must state the reason for the decision and must be accompanied by an information notice. The chief executive must at the same time give the authorised busway user a notice under section 344 (2) . The authorisation is suspended under this section until the earlier of the following— the chief executive gives the authorised busway user notice of the chief executive’s decision under section 344 ; the end of 60 days after the notice under subsection (2) was given to the authorised busway user. s 345 ins 2000 No. 40 s 13 (amd 2001 No. 79 s 19 (7) ) amd 2005 No. 49 s 26 (sec.345-ssec.1) This section applies if the chief executive— reasonably believes an authorised busway user has contravened a condition of the authorised busway user’s authorisation; and considers members of the public may be seriously harmed if urgent action to suspend the authorisation is not taken.
