### sec.296 Ways of achieving busway objectives
The objectives of this Act for busways are intended to be achieved by—
developing and putting into effect busway transport infrastructure strategies; and
establishing a legal framework to allow the construction, maintenance, management and operation of busway transport infrastructure in an effective and efficient way.
