### sec.290 Protection from liability In this section— official means a director of the board of a port authority, an employee of a port authority or a person acting for a port authority. A regulation may provide that an official is not civilly liable for an act or omission done honestly and without negligence for a port authority. If subsection (2) prevents a civil liability attaching to an official, the liability attaches instead to the port authority. s 290 ins 1994 No. 32 s 5 amd 2007 No. 10 s 62 sch (sec.290-ssec.1) In this section— official means a director of the board of a port authority, an employee of a port authority or a person acting for a port authority.
