### sec.282E Port notice—parking or stopping of vehicles
A port authority or port lessor may control by port notice the parking or stopping of vehicles at or on its port facilities, strategic port land or Brisbane core port land including, for example, by indicating a place where parking or stopping of a vehicle is restricted or prohibited.
However, a port authority’s or port lessor’s power to control a matter mentioned in subsection (1) by port notice is subject to the control of the matter by an official traffic sign installed under the Transport Operations (Road Use Management) Act 1995 , chapter 5 , part 2 , by the chief executive within the meaning of that part.
