### sec.281E Liability for damage to port facilities
If damage is caused by a ship to port facilities, the following persons are jointly and severally liable for the damage—
the owner of the ship;
the master of the ship;
the agent of the ship’s owner.
If damage is caused to port facilities by floating or submerged material, the owner of the material is liable for the damage if the damage happened because of the intentional, reckless or negligent act of the owner.
A port entity may recover its reasonable cost of rectifying the damage as a debt payable to the entity.

(sec.281E-ssec.1) If damage is caused by a ship to port facilities, the following persons are jointly and severally liable for the damage— the owner of the ship; the master of the ship; the agent of the ship’s owner.
