### sec.266D Submission against proposed imposition of penalty
The railway manager may make a submission against the imposition of the penalty in the way stated in the proposed penalty notice.
The submission must—
be made to the chief executive no later than 28 days after the railway manager is given the proposed penalty notice; and
state fully the grounds for the submission and the facts relied upon.
The chief executive may, by written notice given to the railway manager, state a longer period allowed for making the submission.

(sec.266D-ssec.1) The railway manager may make a submission against the imposition of the penalty in the way stated in the proposed penalty notice.
(sec.266D-ssec.2) The submission must— be made to the chief executive no later than 28 days after the railway manager is given the proposed penalty notice; and state fully the grounds for the submission and the facts relied upon.
(sec.266D-ssec.3) The chief executive may, by written notice given to the railway manager, state a longer period allowed for making the submission.
