### sec.3 Torres Strait Islanders particularly concerned with land etc. For the purposes of this Act, a Torres Strait Islander is particularly concerned with land if the Torres Strait Islander— has a particular connection with the land under Island custom; or lives on or uses the land or neighbouring land. For the purposes of this Act, Torres Strait Islanders are particularly concerned with land if— they are members of a group that has a particular connection with the land under Island custom; or they live on or use the land or neighbouring land. (sec.3-ssec.1) For the purposes of this Act, a Torres Strait Islander is particularly concerned with land if the Torres Strait Islander— has a particular connection with the land under Island custom; or lives on or uses the land or neighbouring land. (sec.3-ssec.2) For the purposes of this Act, Torres Strait Islanders are particularly concerned with land if— they are members of a group that has a particular connection with the land under Island custom; or they live on or use the land or neighbouring land. - (a) has a particular connection with the land under Island custom; or - (b) lives on or uses the land or neighbouring land. - (a) they are members of a group that has a particular connection with the land under Island custom; or - (b) they live on or use the land or neighbouring land.
