### sec.28ZI Cancellation of deeds of grant in trust, reserves etc. This section applies if— available land is subject to any of the following (each an old tenure ) when the trustee for the land applies for the land to be granted in fee simple under section 28C — a deed of grant in trust; a reserve dedicated under the Land Act ; a townsite lease; an interest mentioned in section 28B , definition interest holder ; and a deed of grant in fee simple (a new tenure ) for the available land is registered. The old tenure is cancelled to the extent of the new tenure. s 28ZI ins 2014 No. 45 s 35 amd 2019 No. 17 s 91 (sec.28ZI-ssec.1) This section applies if— available land is subject to any of the following (each an old tenure ) when the trustee for the land applies for the land to be granted in fee simple under section 28C — a deed of grant in trust; a reserve dedicated under the Land Act ; a townsite lease; an interest mentioned in section 28B , definition interest holder ; and a deed of grant in fee simple (a new tenure ) for the available land is registered.
