### sec.173 Application of Trusts Act 1973 The Trusts Act 1973 applies to a land trust and its members in relation to dealings with Torres Strait Islander land only to the extent prescribed under this part. To the extent that the Trusts Act 1973 does apply to a land trust and its members in relation to dealings with Torres Strait Islander land, it applies with the changes prescribed under this part. To remove any doubt, it is declared that the Trusts Act 1973 applies, without changes, to a land trust and its members in relation to dealings with trust property that is not Torres Strait Islander land. s 173 amd 2003 No. 77 s 125 ; 2008 No. 29 s 73 sch sub 2011 No. 26 s 175 (sec.173-ssec.1) The Trusts Act 1973 applies to a land trust and its members in relation to dealings with Torres Strait Islander land only to the extent prescribed under this part. (sec.173-ssec.2) To the extent that the Trusts Act 1973 does apply to a land trust and its members in relation to dealings with Torres Strait Islander land, it applies with the changes prescribed under this part. (sec.173-ssec.3) To remove any doubt, it is declared that the Trusts Act 1973 applies, without changes, to a land trust and its members in relation to dealings with trust property that is not Torres Strait Islander land.
