### sec.172 Provision about vesting of Torres Strait Islander land
If Torres Strait Islander land is held by a land trust, the land is taken to have been vested in the land trust.
Subsection (1) applies to Torres Strait Islander land whether or not the land was first held by the land trust before the commencement of this section.

(sec.172-ssec.1) If Torres Strait Islander land is held by a land trust, the land is taken to have been vested in the land trust.
