### sec.47 Minister may give direction in public interest
The Minister may give TAFE Queensland a written direction if the Minister is satisfied it is necessary to give the direction in the public interest.
Before giving the direction, the Minister must—
consult with TAFE Queensland; and
ask TAFE Queensland to advise whether, in its opinion, complying with the direction would not be in its financial interest.
TAFE Queensland must comply with the direction.
(sec.47-ssec.1) The Minister may give TAFE Queensland a written direction if the Minister is satisfied it is necessary to give the direction in the public interest.
(sec.47-ssec.2) Before giving the direction, the Minister must— consult with TAFE Queensland; and ask TAFE Queensland to advise whether, in its opinion, complying with the direction would not be in its financial interest.
(sec.47-ssec.3) TAFE Queensland must comply with the direction.
- (a) consult with TAFE Queensland; and
- (b) ask TAFE Queensland to advise whether, in its opinion, complying with the direction would not be in its financial interest.
