### sec.46 Access to registers
The chief executive must—
keep each register open for inspection by the public during office hours on business days at the department’s head office; and
allow a person to search and take extracts from the register; and
give a person who asks for it a copy of all or part of a document or information held in the register, on payment of the fee decided by the chief executive.
The fee can not be more than the actual cost of giving the copy.
