### sec.75 Carrying out cadastral surveys A person who is not a registrant must not carry out a cadastral survey. Maximum penalty—100 penalty units. A person who is a registrant must not carry out a cadastral survey if the person is not a cadastral surveyor. Maximum penalty—100 penalty units. However, a person does not commit an offence against subsection (2) if— the person carries out the cadastral survey under the supervision of a cadastral surveyor; and the level of supervision by the cadastral surveyor complies with a guideline mentioned in section 188A (2) (a) .
