### sec.38 Eligibility for registration and registration endorsement—corporations
A corporation may be registered as a surveyor with a registration endorsement as a consulting surveyor, with or without any other registration endorsements.
A corporation is eligible for registration if the corporation—
is incorporated in Australia; and
has, within 1 year before applying for the registration, been assessed under this Act as having the relevant competency; and
takes out and maintains the insurance cover prescribed under a regulation; and
complies with subsection (3) .
The corporation must employ or have as one of its executive officers—
a surveyor who holds a registration endorsement as a consulting surveyor; and
if the corporation requires an endorsement other than as a consulting surveyor—a surveyor who holds the registration endorsement required.

(sec.38-ssec.1) A corporation may be registered as a surveyor with a registration endorsement as a consulting surveyor, with or without any other registration endorsements.

- (a) is incorporated in Australia; and
- (b) has, within 1 year before applying for the registration, been assessed under this Act as having the relevant competency; and
- (c) takes out and maintains the insurance cover prescribed under a regulation; and
- (d) complies with subsection (3) .
- (a) a surveyor who holds a registration endorsement as a consulting surveyor; and
- (b) if the corporation requires an endorsement other than as a consulting surveyor—a surveyor who holds the registration endorsement required.
