### sec.209 Existing board members
A person who, immediately before the commencement, was a member continues to be a member until the person is taken to have vacated office under section 19.
Despite new section 12, the board is taken to be properly constituted during the transition period if it is constituted in accordance with former section 12.
In this section—
former , in relation to a provision of this Act, means as in force immediately before the commencement.
new , in relation to a provision of this Act, means as in force on the commencement.
transition period means the period starting on the commencement and ending 12 months after the commencement.
