### sec.131 Appointment conditions and limit on powers
An investigator holds office on the conditions stated in—
the investigator’s instrument of appointment; or
a signed notice given to the investigator.
The instrument of appointment or signed notice may limit the investigator’s powers under this Act.
In this section—
signed notice means a notice signed by the board.
(sec.131-ssec.1) An investigator holds office on the conditions stated in— the investigator’s instrument of appointment; or a signed notice given to the investigator.
(sec.131-ssec.2) The instrument of appointment or signed notice may limit the investigator’s powers under this Act.
(sec.131-ssec.3) In this section— signed notice means a notice signed by the board.
- (a) the investigator’s instrument of appointment; or
- (b) a signed notice given to the investigator.
