#### 50 Notice to be given to other States 50 Notice to be given to other States > > (1) The registrar of the Court is to give notice of a parentage order, or a discharge of a parentage order, made by the Court in relation to a child whose birth the registrar has reason to believe is registered in another State or a Territory to the registering authority of the State or Territory. > > > (2) The regulations may make provision for the form in which the notice is to be given and the information required to be included in the notice. > > > (3) In this section— > > > > registering authority has the same meaning as it has in the [Births, Deaths and Marriages Registration Act 1995](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1995-062).
