### sec.61 External review of decisions
If the reviewed decision is not the decision sought by the applicant for the review, the Coordinator-General must give the applicant an information notice for the reviewed decision.
The applicant may apply, as provided under the QCAT Act , to QCAT for a review of the reviewed decision.
The QCAT Act , section 22 (3) provides that QCAT may stay the operation of the reviewed decision, either on application by a person or on its own initiative.
In this section—
information notice , means a written notice stating that the person may—
ask for the reviewed decision to be reviewed by QCAT; and
apply for the reviewed decision to be stayed under the QCAT Act .
reviewed decision means the Coordinator-General’s decision on a review under section 60 .
(sec.61-ssec.1) If the reviewed decision is not the decision sought by the applicant for the review, the Coordinator-General must give the applicant an information notice for the reviewed decision.

(sec.61-ssec.3) In this section— information notice , means a written notice stating that the person may— ask for the reviewed decision to be reviewed by QCAT; and apply for the reviewed decision to be stayed under the QCAT Act . reviewed decision means the Coordinator-General’s decision on a review under section 60 .
- (a) ask for the reviewed decision to be reviewed by QCAT; and
- (b) apply for the reviewed decision to be stayed under the QCAT Act .
