> > (1) In this rule –
> >
> > > ***examination officer*** means any officer of the Court holding authority as a taxing officer.
>
> > (2) Upon making an examination order under [Part 9 of the](/view/html/inforce/2026-04-12/act-1993-020#HP9@EN) [Crime (Confiscation of Profits) Act 1993](/view/html/inforce/2026-04-12/act-1993-020) , the Court or a judge may direct that the examination under that order is to be conducted by an examination officer.

> > (3) At any time during an examination conducted in accordance with [Part 9 of the](/view/html/inforce/2026-04-12/act-1993-020#HP9@EN) [Crime (Confiscation of Profits) Act 1993](/view/html/inforce/2026-04-12/act-1993-020) –

> > > > (a) if the examination is conducted by a judge, the judge may adjourn the examination to be continued before an examination officer; or
