### sec.86 Admission guidelines
The admission rules may provide that the Chief Justice may issue guidelines about a matter prescribed under the admission rules.
A guideline takes effect—
on the first day it is published under subsection (3) (a) ; or
if a later day is fixed in the guideline—on that day.
The registrar must ensure each guideline, while it is in effect, is—
published on the court’s website; and
available for public inspection, without charge, at the regional registries at Brisbane, Rockhampton, Townsville and Cairns.
In this section—
admission rules means rules of court made under this Act for the admission of persons to the legal profession under the Legal Profession Act 2007 .
