### sec.75 Power of bailiffs
A bailiff is an officer of the sheriff.
A bailiff is appointed for the State.
The sheriff, or a deputy sheriff, may delegate any of the sheriff’s functions, or deputy sheriff’s functions, to a bailiff.
Subject to the terms of the delegation, a bailiff may perform a function throughout the State.
