### sec.37 Appointment of President
The Governor in Council may, by commission, appoint a judge of appeal to be the President of the Court of Appeal.
A judge of appeal may be appointed as the President of the Court of Appeal either at the time of the person’s appointment as a judge of appeal or at any time afterwards.
To remove any doubt, it is declared that the Governor in Council may act under section 34 and this section to appoint a judge, or a person qualified to be appointed as a judge, as the President of the Court of Appeal.
