### sec.17 Establishment
The Queensland Sentencing Information Service ( QSIS ) is established.
The purpose of establishing QSIS is to provide a database of sentencing information (the QSIS database ) to help with the administration of the criminal justice system by, for example, helping the courts achieve consistency in sentencing.
