### sec.13 Employer contributions while employee is on workers’ compensation
This section applies—
in relation to an employee of a unit of the State public sector—
who is a core government employee; or
whose chosen fund is the scheme; and
if the employee is receiving compensation under the Workers’ Compensation and Rehabilitation Act 2003 instead of remuneration paid by the unit.
While the employee is receiving the compensation, the unit must pay contributions under section 23 (1) of the Act as if the employee were engaged in the employee’s normal work.
(sec.13-ssec.1) This section applies— in relation to an employee of a unit of the State public sector— who is a core government employee; or whose chosen fund is the scheme; and if the employee is receiving compensation under the Workers’ Compensation and Rehabilitation Act 2003 instead of remuneration paid by the unit.
(sec.13-ssec.2) While the employee is receiving the compensation, the unit must pay contributions under section 23 (1) of the Act as if the employee were engaged in the employee’s normal work.
- (a) in relation to an employee of a unit of the State public sector— (i) who is a core government employee; or (ii) whose chosen fund is the scheme; and
- (i) who is a core government employee; or
- (ii) whose chosen fund is the scheme; and
- (b) if the employee is receiving compensation under the Workers’ Compensation and Rehabilitation Act 2003 instead of remuneration paid by the unit.
- (i) who is a core government employee; or
- (ii) whose chosen fund is the scheme; and
