### sec.33W Matters that are taken to be formal requirements
This section applies if a particular law of a place outside Queensland is to be applied to a will, whether or not for the purpose of section 33T .
The following requirements of the particular law are taken to be formal requirements only—
a requirement that special formalities be complied with by particular testators;
a requirement that the witnesses to the execution of a will have particular qualifications.
Subsection (2) applies despite any contrary rule of the particular law.

(sec.33W-ssec.1) This section applies if a particular law of a place outside Queensland is to be applied to a will, whether or not for the purpose of section 33T .
(sec.33W-ssec.2) The following requirements of the particular law are taken to be formal requirements only— a requirement that special formalities be complied with by particular testators; a requirement that the witnesses to the execution of a will have particular qualifications.
(sec.33W-ssec.3) Subsection (2) applies despite any contrary rule of the particular law.
