### sec.321 Application for permission about animals or plants
This section applies to an application, under the former Act, for a permission to bring an animal or plant into the State, or to keep or sell an animal or plant, that is not finally decided before the commencement.
The application may be decided as if it were an application for a declared pest permit for 1 of the following purposes—
for an application to bring an animal or plant into the State and keep it for educational purposes—public education;
for an application to bring an animal or plant into the State and keep it for entertainment purposes—circus;
for an application to bring an animal or plant into the State and keep it for exhibition purposes—wildlife park or zoo;
for an application to bring an animal or plant into the State and keep it for scientific purposes—scientific research;
for another application—commercial.
(sec.321-ssec.1) This section applies to an application, under the former Act, for a permission to bring an animal or plant into the State, or to keep or sell an animal or plant, that is not finally decided before the commencement.

- (a) for an application to bring an animal or plant into the State and keep it for educational purposes—public education;
- (b) for an application to bring an animal or plant into the State and keep it for entertainment purposes—circus;
- (c) for an application to bring an animal or plant into the State and keep it for exhibition purposes—wildlife park or zoo;
- (d) for an application to bring an animal or plant into the State and keep it for scientific purposes—scientific research;
- (e) for another application—commercial.
