### sec.253 Other entries without warrant
This section applies if—
an authorised person is intending to enter a place under section 251 (1) (d) ; and
the occupier of the place is present at the place.
Before entering the place, the authorised person must do or make a reasonable attempt to do the following—
comply with section 247 (1) ;
tell the occupier the purpose of the entry;
tell the occupier the authorised person is permitted under this Act to enter the place without the occupier’s consent or warrant.

(sec.253-ssec.1) This section applies if— an authorised person is intending to enter a place under section 251 (1) (d) ; and the occupier of the place is present at the place.
(sec.253-ssec.2) Before entering the place, the authorised person must do or make a reasonable attempt to do the following— comply with section 247 (1) ; tell the occupier the purpose of the entry; tell the occupier the authorised person is permitted under this Act to enter the place without the occupier’s consent or warrant.
- (a) an authorised person is intending to enter a place under section 251 (1) (d) ; and
- (b) the occupier of the place is present at the place.
