### sec.49 Subordinate legislation must be tabled
Subordinate legislation must be tabled in the Legislative Assembly within 14 sitting days after it is notified under section 47 .
Under the Legislative Standards Act 1992 , section 22 , explanatory notes must be tabled with subordinate legislation.
Under the Human Rights Act 2019 , section 41 , a human rights certificate must be tabled with subordinate legislation.
If subordinate legislation is not tabled under subsection (1) , it ceases to have effect.
In this section—
subordinate legislation includes a form required, under an Act or a regulation under this Act, to be tabled in the Legislative Assembly.

(sec.49-ssec.1) Subordinate legislation must be tabled in the Legislative Assembly within 14 sitting days after it is notified under section 47 . Under the Legislative Standards Act 1992 , section 22 , explanatory notes must be tabled with subordinate legislation. Under the Human Rights Act 2019 , section 41 , a human rights certificate must be tabled with subordinate legislation.
(sec.49-ssec.2) If subordinate legislation is not tabled under subsection (1) , it ceases to have effect.
