### sec.71 Way statutory body may apply for approval A statutory body may apply, in writing, for the Treasurer’s approval of the exercise of a power under this Act. The application may relate to the exercise of the power generally or in relation to a particular matter. If the Treasurer considers the approval should be given under division 2 for all statutory bodies, particular bodies or particular classes of bodies, the Treasurer may deal with the application by giving an approval under the division that applies to the applicant. The Treasurer may exercise the power to amend or repeal an approval under this division even if the statutory body does not apply for the amendment or repeal. Under the Acts Interpretation Act 1954 , section 24AA , the power to make an instrument or decision includes power to amend or repeal the instrument or decision.
