### sec.39 Receiver to collect revenue and may exercise powers of statutory body
A court-appointed receiver may collect all amounts paid to, or all amounts payable to, the statutory body for which the receiver was appointed.
For the purpose of collecting the amounts, the receiver is taken to be the statutory body and may exercise the body’s powers to the extent necessary or convenient for the purpose.
The receiver’s powers under this section are subject to a direction under section 37 (4) .

(sec.39-ssec.1) A court-appointed receiver may collect all amounts paid to, or all amounts payable to, the statutory body for which the receiver was appointed.
(sec.39-ssec.2) For the purpose of collecting the amounts, the receiver is taken to be the statutory body and may exercise the body’s powers to the extent necessary or convenient for the purpose.
(sec.39-ssec.3) The receiver’s powers under this section are subject to a direction under section 37 (4) .
