### sec.25 Purpose of appointment and necessary powers of appointee
The purpose of appointing an appointee is to ensure the Treasurer is paid all or part of the recovery amounts.
An appointee for a statutory body may collect amounts payable to the statutory body and, for that purpose, is taken to be the body and may exercise the body’s powers.
However, the regulation or notice may provide the appointee is to take over and manage the affairs, or a stated part of the affairs, of the statutory body.
