### sec.19AE Prescribed activity— Act , sch 2 , definition unpaid work
For the Act , schedule 2 , definition unpaid work , paragraph (b) , a prescribed activity is any activity performed by a person for an approved sponsor that does not result in a personal benefit to—
the sponsor; or
an associate of the sponsor; or
a relative of the sponsor; or
a person who supervises the person for the sponsor.
However, an activity performed by a person for an approved sponsor is not unpaid work if—
the activity is a function of regulated employment under the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000 and the person does not hold a working with children clearance under that Act ; or
the sponsor is a funded non-government service provider or an NDIS non-government service provider under the Disability Services Act 2006 and the person does not hold a clearance given under that Act .
In this section—
associate , of a sponsor, means—
a representative of the sponsor; or
a person who conducts a business or undertaking with the sponsor.
relative see the Domestic and Family Violence Protection Act 2012 , section 19 (2) to (5) .
representative , of a sponsor, means—
if the sponsor is a corporation—an executive officer, employee or agent of the sponsor; or
if the sponsor is an individual—an employee or agent of the sponsor.

(sec.19AE-ssec.1) For the Act , schedule 2 , definition unpaid work , paragraph (b) , a prescribed activity is any activity performed by a person for an approved sponsor that does not result in a personal benefit to— the sponsor; or an associate of the sponsor; or a relative of the sponsor; or a person who supervises the person for the sponsor.
(sec.19AE-ssec.2) However, an activity performed by a person for an approved sponsor is not unpaid work if— the activity is a function of regulated employment under the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000 and the person does not hold a working with children clearance under that Act ; or the sponsor is a funded non-government service provider or an NDIS non-government service provider under the Disability Services Act 2006 and the person does not hold a clearance given under that Act .

- (a) the sponsor; or
