### sec.54W Criteria for decision
This section applies to the Coordinator-General in deciding whether to issue an environmental approval for the coordinated project or impose conditions on the approval.
The Coordinator-General must—
consider all of the following—
the impacts the project has had, will have or is likely to have, on each environmental matter protected by a specified provision;
any criteria for the decision prescribed by regulation;
the protected matters report;
any further information provided under a notice under section 54S (2) ;
any information, advice or comment given under section 54S (6) ;
all accepted submissions for the project; and
ensure the approval and conditions are not inconsistent with the bilateral agreement.
Also, the Coordinator-General may consider—
the proponent’s environmental record; and
any other matter the Coordinator-General considers relevant.
The Coordinator-General must prepare a report (an assessment report ) that—
demonstrates the Coordinator-General’s consideration of the matters mentioned in subsections (2) and (3) ; and
identifies the information and opinions, and the source of the information and opinions, on which the consideration is based.

(sec.54W-ssec.1) This section applies to the Coordinator-General in deciding whether to issue an environmental approval for the coordinated project or impose conditions on the approval.
(sec.54W-ssec.2) The Coordinator-General must— consider all of the following— the impacts the project has had, will have or is likely to have, on each environmental matter protected by a specified provision; any criteria for the decision prescribed by regulation; the protected matters report; any further information provided under a notice under section 54S (2) ; any information, advice or comment given under section 54S (6) ; all accepted submissions for the project; and ensure the approval and conditions are not inconsistent with the bilateral agreement.
(sec.54W-ssec.3) Also, the Coordinator-General may consider— the proponent’s environmental record; and any other matter the Coordinator-General considers relevant.
(sec.54W-ssec.4) The Coordinator-General must prepare a report (an assessment report ) that— demonstrates the Coordinator-General’s consideration of the matters mentioned in subsections (2) and (3) ; and identifies the information and opinions, and the source of the information and opinions, on which the consideration is based.

- (i) the impacts the project has had, will have or is likely to have, on each environmental matter protected by a specified provision;
- (ii) any criteria for the decision prescribed by regulation;
- (iii) the protected matters report;
- (iv) any further information provided under a notice under section 54S (2) ;
- (v) any information, advice or comment given under section 54S (6) ;
- (vi) all accepted submissions for the project; and
- (b) ensure the approval and conditions are not inconsistent with the bilateral agreement.
- (i) the impacts the project has had, will have or is likely to have, on each environmental matter protected by a specified provision;
- (ii) any criteria for the decision prescribed by regulation;
- (iii) the protected matters report;
- (iv) any further information provided under a notice under section 54S (2) ;
- (v) any information, advice or comment given under section 54S (6) ;
- (vi) all accepted submissions for the project; and
- (a) the proponent’s environmental record; and
- (b) any other matter the Coordinator-General considers relevant.
- (a) demonstrates the Coordinator-General’s consideration of the matters mentioned in subsections (2) and (3) ; and
