### sec.54T Decision about approving undertaking of coordinated project
This section applies after—
the Coordinator-General has received the final protected matters report under section 54R ; and
the earlier of the following happens—
the proponent complies with all information requirement notices relating to the final report;
each period stated in an information requirement notice relating to the final report has ended.
The Coordinator-General must decide—
to approve the undertaking of all or part of the coordinated project in relation to each of the specified provisions; or
to refuse to approve the project.
However, the Coordinator-General must not approve the undertaking of the coordinated project to the extent the project will impact an environmental matter protected by a specified provision in a way that, in the Coordinator-General’s opinion, is unacceptable or unsustainable.
To remove any doubt, it is declared that if the Coordinator-General approves the undertaking of only part of a project, the balance of the project is refused.
