### sec.54M Cancellation of declaration
The Coordinator-General may cancel a bilateral project declaration for a coordinated project before making a decision under section 54T if—
the proponent of the project makes a written request to the Coordinator-General to cancel the declaration; or
the coordinated project declaration for the project is cancelled under section 27AF ; or
the Coordinator-General is no longer satisfied about either or both of the matters mentioned in section 54J (2) ; or
the Coordinator-General considers the project is a project mentioned in section 54J (3) (a) to (c) .
If the Coordinator-General decides under subsection (1) (b) to (d) to cancel the declaration, the Coordinator-General must, within 14 days after the decision, give the proponent written notice of the decision and the reasons for it.
A decision to cancel the declaration takes effect on the later of—
the day the written notice is given to the proponent; or
the day of effect stated in the written notice.
