### sec.157E Stay only by application
An appeal under section 157D affects the decision the subject of the appeal and the operation of the relevant enforcement notice only if the decision is stayed.
The Planning and Environment Court may grant a stay of the decision to secure the effectiveness of the appeal.
A stay—
may be given on the conditions the court considers appropriate; and
operates for the period fixed by the court; and
may be amended or cancelled by the court.
The period of a stay under this section must not extend past the time when the court decides the appeal.
