### sec.153AD Roles of Governor in Council and Coordinator-General for decision about approval of project
The Coordinator-General must, on completing consultation under section 153AB —
assess the private infrastructure facility application; and
make a recommendation to the Governor in Council as to whether the matters mentioned in section 153AC (2) are satisfied for the project.
The Governor in Council may decide to approve or not to approve the project or approve it subject to conditions.
If the Governor in Council decides to approve the project as a private infrastructure facility—
the Coordinator-General must prepare a statement giving reasons why the project was approved and publish a copy of the statement in the gazette; and
the Minister must table the statement in the legislative assembly within 3 sitting days after the gazette notice notifying the approval is published.
If the Governor in Council decides not to approve a project as a private infrastructure facility, the Coordinator-General must, within 28 days after the decision, give the proponent written notice of the decision and the reasons for it.
