### sec.53CX Other entries
This section applies if a discharge officer proposes to enter a place other than with consent of its occupier or by a warrant.
Before entering the place, the discharge officer must do or make a reasonable attempt to do the following things—
comply with the Water Supply Act , section 48 , as applied under section 53CK (4) , for any occupier of the place who is present at the place;
Water Supply Act , section 48 (Producing and displaying identity card)
tell the occupier the purpose of the entry;
tell the occupier the officer is permitted under this Act to enter the place without the occupier’s consent.
Also, if the entry is under an approved inspection program, the discharge officer must give the occupier details of the program.

(sec.53CX-ssec.3) Also, if the entry is under an approved inspection program, the discharge officer must give the occupier details of the program.

- (c) tell the occupier the officer is permitted under this Act to enter the place without the occupier’s consent.
