### sec.53CC Costs of taking required remedial action
The distributor-retailer must bear the costs of complying with a remedial action requirement.
If, under section 53CB (2) , the public entity takes the remedial action, it may recover from the distributor-retailer as a debt the amount of the entity’s reasonable costs of taking the action.

(sec.53CC-ssec.1) The distributor-retailer must bear the costs of complying with a remedial action requirement.
