### sec.53BX Costs of carrying out required consequential work A public entity must bear the costs of complying with any consequential work requirement it makes. If the relevant distributor-retailer has complied with section 53BW (1) , the distributor-retailer may recover from the entity as a debt the amount of the distributor-retailer’s reasonable costs of carrying out the work. s 53BX ins 2010 No. 20 s 9 (sec.53BX-ssec.1) A public entity must bear the costs of complying with any consequential work requirement it makes.
