### sec.53BV Power to require consequential work This section applies if— the public entity has complied with section 53BU ; and to carry out the public entity work, it is reasonably necessary for any of the following work to be done ( consequential work )— changing the position of the water infrastructure; carrying out other work relating to the water infrastructure. The entity may, by notice (a consequential work requirement ), require the distributor-retailer to do the consequential work within a stated reasonable period. s 53BV ins 2010 No. 20 s 9 (sec.53BV-ssec.1) This section applies if— the public entity has complied with section 53BU ; and to carry out the public entity work, it is reasonably necessary for any of the following work to be done ( consequential work )— changing the position of the water infrastructure; carrying out other work relating to the water infrastructure.
