### sec.53AI Authorised exchange of information
A distributor-retailer and its participating local governments may exchange information with each other if the exchange is necessary or desirable for the distributor-retailer to perform its geographic area functions.
However, information can not be exchanged under subsection (1) after 1 July 2013.
This section is subject to the Information Privacy Act 2009 and the Right to Information Act 2009 .
