### sec.53AA Distributor-retailers become service providers
On and from 1 July 2010 all distributor-retailers become service providers for their geographic area functions.
The Water Supply Act , section 20 does not apply to a distributor-retailer.
A distributor-retailer continues to be a service provider from 1 July 2010 and subject to the Water Supply Act .
A distributor-retailer must give the regulator the information mentioned in the Water Supply Act , section 12 about the distributor-retailer as a service provider as soon as practicable after 1 July 2010.

(sec.53AA-ssec.1) On and from 1 July 2010 all distributor-retailers become service providers for their geographic area functions.
(sec.53AA-ssec.2) The Water Supply Act , section 20 does not apply to a distributor-retailer.
(sec.53AA-ssec.3) A distributor-retailer continues to be a service provider from 1 July 2010 and subject to the Water Supply Act .
