### sec.36 Disqualifications for independent member A person can not be appointed as an independent member if the person— is a public service employee; or is an employee of any local government in the SEQ region; or is an insolvent under administration; or has a conviction, other than a spent conviction, for an indictable offence; or is a member of a board of— another distributor-retailer; or the Queensland Bulk Water Supply Authority established under the 2007 restructuring Act . s 36 sub 2012 No. 1 s 12 amd 2012 No. 39 s 6 - (a) is a public service employee; or - (b) is an employee of any local government in the SEQ region; or - (c) is an insolvent under administration; or - (d) has a conviction, other than a spent conviction, for an indictable offence; or - (e) is a member of a board of— (i) another distributor-retailer; or (ii) the Queensland Bulk Water Supply Authority established under the 2007 restructuring Act . - (i) another distributor-retailer; or - (ii) the Queensland Bulk Water Supply Authority established under the 2007 restructuring Act . - (i) another distributor-retailer; or - (ii) the Queensland Bulk Water Supply Authority established under the 2007 restructuring Act .
