### sec.32 Role of boards
The board is responsible for the way the distributor-retailer performs its functions and exercises its powers.
The board’s role includes—
deciding the strategies and the operational, administrative and financial policies to be followed by the distributor-retailer; and
ensuring the distributor-retailer performs its functions and exercises its powers in a proper, effective and efficient way; and
ensuring, so far as practicable, the distributor-retailer complies with its planning and reporting requirements.
(sec.32-ssec.1) The board is responsible for the way the distributor-retailer performs its functions and exercises its powers.
(sec.32-ssec.2) The board’s role includes— deciding the strategies and the operational, administrative and financial policies to be followed by the distributor-retailer; and ensuring the distributor-retailer performs its functions and exercises its powers in a proper, effective and efficient way; and ensuring, so far as practicable, the distributor-retailer complies with its planning and reporting requirements.
